"THE NEXT DAY IN FASHION" OPEN ONLINE WEBINAR

DECEMBER 4, 2021, 11:00

After the seismic shifts that the world wide web and e-commerce brought to our lives, the fashion industry is now once again facing unprecedented challenges and big opportunities caused by the rising popularity of new technologies, social issues and customer behaviours, as well as an urgent need to save the environment.

How can brands succeed in a world where the luxury brand discovery happens primarily in social media platforms like TikTok, known for their easy-going, natural and unpretentious content?

At the same time, the slow rise of new digital worlds that can be experienced through VR headsets or AR Wearables poses a number of new challenges and an equal amount of never before seen opportunities. Building these technologies over the last decades, tech giants seem to now be ready to take a leap into the Metaverse and luxury brands will have to evolve accordingly in order to follow this shift.

But even in this plethora of groundbreaking innovations and changes, one thing remains the same: a clear need for value-driven decisions. Over the last years, topics such as sustainability, data protection and corporate responsibility have been affecting fashion more than any other industry.

Could we combine digital innovation and humanity? While the answers to these questions are still building, one thing remains for sure, we are facing the next day in fashion and only the ones prepared will be able to become the leaders of tomorrow!
