PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION POLICY STATEMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL EUROPEAN GROUP PANSIK SCUOLA DI MODA

 

The educational European group PansikScuola di Moda (hereinafter the “Company” or “We”) respects its Clients’ privacy and their rights derived from EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter “GDPR”).

Considering the fact that GDPR has entered into force from 25th May 2018, the Company brings to your attention its privacy and data protection policy, disclose the nature of the personal data which we may process and inform you of your rights under the GDPR.

 

 

1. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

“Personal data” encompasses any information relating to a natural person and which identifies or can identify the natural person including his name, address and passport number. The Company collects, stores and utilizes its Client’s personal data. This collection, storage and utilization of your personal data constitutes processing under the GDPR.

 

1.1. UNDERGRADUATES’, GRADUATES’ AND COLLABORATORS’PERSONAL DATA WHICH MAY BE PROCESSED BY THE COMPANY

Your personal data which we may process include:

- Name, surname, father's name, VAT number, home address, home telephone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, Passport/ID details.

- Contracts / agreements between you and the Company.

- Any other information about you that you provide us. .


 

Your personal data may be collected and processed either in a documentary or electronic form.

Your personal data may be collected directly from you and with your consent either as part of our client acceptance procedures or during the term of our engagement as service providers. We may also collect and process personal data from publicly available sources (e.g. the department of Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver, the press, media and the internet) which we lawfully

obtain and are permitted to process. Additionally, personal data may be obtained through third parties (e.g. your previous service provider, from reference letters, introducers).

 

 

1.2. PURPOSES FOR WHICH YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED

The processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of our obligations under the service agreement between the Client and the Company and under applicable laws. More specifically, the processing purposes may include among others:

- ProvidingCenter or Institute Vocational Training services.

- Sales, advertising of space or time in films, video and television products.

- Providing conference services.

- Providing free workshop services, except post-secondary education.

- Providing other publishing services.

- Marketing consulting services.

- Compliance with applicable legislation including anti-money laundering legislation.

- Facilitating communication between the Company and the Client.

- Safeguarding a legitimate interest of the Company including retaining data as evidence in case legal proceedings arise.

- Provision of an ad-hoc consent by the Client for the use of his/her personal data for a purpose other than the ones mentioned hereinabove.

 

Please note that in case you do not wish to provide your personal data to us, we will be unable to initiate and execute our business relationship and provide our services.

 

 

1.3. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

The Company has established the appropriate, GDPR compliant technical procedures and policies with which your personal data will be adequately protected from loss, accidental destruction, alteration, misuse, unauthorized disclosure or access from unauthorized persons.

 

1.4. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR

We will be in possession of your personal data for as long as the service agreement between you and the Company remains in force and for a maximum period of 20 years thereafter or for any additional period if that is required by applicable legislation or required for the adjudication of any dispute between the Company and the Client. Following the lapse of the aforementioned periods, your personal data will be destroyed.

 

 

1.5. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

During the performance of its contractual and legal obligations, the Company may be obliged to disclose personal data of its Clients or parts thereof to third parties, including public authorities, governmental agencies, Banks, legal consultants, Audit Firms or other trusted professional consultants of the Company. Subject to any contrary provisions of applicable legislation, the Company undertakes to notify you in case your personal data or parts thereof are to be disclosed to third parties. All associates of the Company due to receive or having access to your personal data will be GDPR compliant.

 

 

2. RESPONSIBLE OFFICERS OF THE COMPANY

The Company, in the context of harmonizing its procedures and policy with GDPR, informs you that it has established the following roles regarding access, processing and protection of your personal data:

Access to and processing of your personal data: In performing our obligations under our business relationship, various departments of the Company may have access to and process your personal data as well as trusted associates of the Company who are GDPR compliant and who are utilized for the provision of our services. Additionally, we will provide access to your personal data to third parties when and if we are legally obliged to do so, in which case we will use reasonable efforts to notify you beforehand unless we are legally restricted from doing so.

Examples of people having access to your personal data:

- Company’s employees including Company’s administrators.

- Employees - Realtors of the Company.

- Company’s legal consultants.

- Auditors and accountants.

- IT service providers

- Other professional advisers

- Banks with which you or the company in which you have a beneficial interest, have a business relationship.

In relation to the processing of your personal data by the Company, you retain the following rights:

- To be informed about who is processing your data, which data does he process and why.

- To receive access to your personal data, when they are subject to processing.

- To request corrections, rectification or additions to your personal data.

- To request to receive a copy of your personal data.

- To request the processing of your personal data only for limited purposes.

- To limit the processing of your personal data so that your personal data are no longer required by the Company or you have objections to automated processing.

- To request erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”) where there is no legal justification for the Company continuing to process it.

- To object to the processing of your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest in justifying the processing and your rights override our legitimate interest.

- To report a breach of your personal data or non-compliance with GDPR.

- To withdraw your consent given to the Company in relation to the processing of your personal data.

- To transfer your personal data to another processor.

CLIENT’S CONSENT DECLARATION

In order to implement the European Privacy Policy (GDPR) which has entered into force from 25th May 2018, the Company has taken all the necessary measures and has developed all the appropriate policies in order to fully comply with the requirements of the Regulation and provide the highest possible level of protection for all its traders. In this context, we would like you to allow us processing your personal data which you will provide to us, by fulfilling this application, in order for the Company to be able to complete the mandate you give it, while exercising its commercial purpose.

As long as you have been informed of the Company's Privacy and Data Protection Policy, which has been published on the website of “The educational European group PansikScuola di Moda” and you agree to purposes mentioned above, you are pleased to sign this Statement of Consent for Processing Your Personal Data which is an integral part of the Command you give to the Company.

Please notice that in case you do not wish to provide the Company with your consent so that it is allowed to process your personal data, or if you raise your consent to the Company through which it is allowed to process your personal data, the Company will not be able to implement the mandate you give it or provide you with its services and furthermore the Company will be able to refuse fulfilling any of its obligations under the Law.
