The definition of Ιndoor Visual Merchandising refers to the curation of the space that hosts the merchandised products so that their commerciality goes hand in hand with their aesthetics.
An intensive seminar focused on all the processes we can follow in order to present our product in the most simple-practical and tempting way.
In this particular unit, we transform the students' perspective on clothes from consumer to professional. We cultivate a mindset on the fundamentals of clothing design, composition and separation whereby each prospective student can organize their curatorial strategy.

- People who want to make practical application of the knowledge of STYLING and MARKETING in commerciality.
- People who work or want to work in commercial stores or want to manage their own stores.
- People who are already involved in the fashion industry and want to gain expertise in indoor/visual merchandising

Joanna Galani was born and raised in Athens, Greece and graduated from Athens College in 97’.
She has a degree in Interior Design and a BA in Fashion Photography & Digital Media from ARU, in Cambridge, England.
Joanna worked as a Freelance Fashion Stylist for a few years in London before relocating to Athens and working as a Contributing Fashion Editor for Greek publications such as InStyle, Glamour and Esquire, and as a Visual Merchandiser for Armani.
Two years later, she decided she wanted to return to London and was employed by Browns Fashion as the VM & Display Director, a title she held for 6 years and acquired worldwide recognition in the industry by winning two VM Awards for her window displays.
Joanna then worked at Flannels, as the Head of VM and Marketing and as a freelance contextual and fashion stylist before moving into Art Direction.
She is now working between the U.K. and Greece for various international clients.

- PDF Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader (PC) or Preview App. (Mac))
- Powerpoint software
- A video player (Media Player / QuickTime / VLC)
